Abstract
None:
Osteosarcoma in adults over 40 is uncommon, and outcomes are less favorable than in younger patients. Nevertheless, older patients should be offered treatment strategies comparable to those used in younger individuals. Aggressive multimodal treatment combining surgical excision and chemotherapy may achieve long-term remission, even in advanced or infected presentations.
