Abstract:
Gastric cancer may occasionally present with a subepithelial lesion-like appearance. When a gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is suspected preoperatively without definitive pathological confirmation, intraoperative frozen section analysis is recommended to prevent inappropriate surgical intervention.
