Complete Blood-Count-Derived Inflammatory Markers Across Acute Mood Episodes

Systemic inflammation markers, including neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR), are elevated in bipolar disorder (BD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) patients. Antidepressant use showed an inverse association with PLR and MLR.
