Abstract:
Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a highly prevalent and aggressive malignancy characterized by loco-regional recurrence and lymph node metastasis, which are related to undesirable prognosis. The successful clinical translation of emerging diagnosis and treatment methods related to OSCC from theoretical technologies requires the integration of evidence-based data. In this review, we adopt an evidence-based perspective to elaborate on the evidence support and clinical application prospects of various cutting-edge OSCC management technologies, in light of their current clinical research status. We further present future outlooks for these technologies. The review is intended to highlight the role of evidence-based dentistry in advanced OSCC technologies, evaluate the clinical value of current frontier strategies, and offer critical references for OSCC clinical management.

Cancer Therapies
However, cancer treatments can pose several challenges, as therapies used to kill cancer cells are generally also toxic to normal cells. Moreover, cancer cells mutate rapidly and can develop resistance to chemical agents or radiation therapy. Besides, all types of cancer cells may not respond to the same therapy. Some cancer cells respond to one...
