Abstract:
Immediate complete dentures provide patients with improved esthetics and reasonable function following dental extractions. Denture base reinforcement in implant overdentures helps distribute occlusal stress and reduces the risk of denture fracture. This technique describes the fabrication of a digitally designed and subtractively manufactured denture base, a conventional compression-molded denture base for an immediate implant overdenture, and polyetheretherketone frameworks step-by-step. The integration of techniques facilitated a predictable transition to a mandibular implant overdenture for a patient with terminal dentition.
