    Summary

    Cell-mediated immunity (CMI) is impaired early in Hodgkin's disease (HD) and persists post-treatment. This immune defect, affecting lymphocytes, contributes to anergy in HD patients.

    Background:

    • Cell-mediated immunity (CMI) defects are observed early in Hodgkin's disease (HD).

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the nature and persistence of CMI defects in Hodgkin's disease patients.
    • To correlate in vivo and in vitro measures of immune function.
