Scanning resolution influences texture features in intraoral radiographs

Lower scanning resolutions of photostimulable phosphor (PSP) plates create digital radiographic images with less uniformity. Texture analysis (TA) showed reduced homogeneity at lower resolutions, impacting image quality regardless of object thickness.
