Six new trichostatin analogs, designated karstmycins I-M (1-6), together with eight known congeners (7-14), were obtained from Streptomyces sp. DX6D14 isolated from the soil of the karst cave. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated through spectroscopic analysis, including high-resolution electron spray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. All the isolates were evaluated for antibacterial and cytotoxic activities.
