The IEEE EMBS Student Mentoring Program (SMP) 2024 edition is the fourth edition, with the highest number of participants, following the successful renovation of the program in 2021. The program has maintained its momentum consecutively year after year, with a total of over 200 mentee-mentor pairs globally since 2021. The first 2021 edition is initiated with 29 mentee-mentor pairs, followed by 10 mentee-mentor pairs for the 2022 edition, 77 mentee-mentor pairs for the 2023 edition, and 88 pairs for the 2024 edition. The aim of the program is to provide an educational platform for IEEE EMBS student members, to facilitate their academic progress in biomedical engineering, and to promote the skills and professional development of IEEE EMBS society members. In the 2024 edition, mentees come from 35 countries, and mentors are from 28 countries under IEEE's 10 regions. Program participants set aside the high expectations by bringing their hopes to the program, and finally, they can grasp their goals after the program is completed. This article highlights the stories of three mentees, two mentors, and two ambassadors by disclosing their SMP 2024 program experiences from the perspective of their academic achievements. It is also an inspiring story for others considering joining or benefiting from the program.
