Abstract:
Two unpresented triterpenoid saponins, dipersaponin A (1) and dipersaponin B (2), and three known analogs (3-5) were separated from methanolic extract of Dipsacus asper Wall. ex Henry. Their structures have been determined by analysis of spectral data, including infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, 1D and 2D NMR, and ECD calculations. The new compounds were evaluated for ASIC1a channel inhibitory activity. Among them, dipersaponin B (2) exhibited inhibition with an IC50 value of 41.99 ± 0.95 µM.
