Summary

Inflammatory stability, measured by the Inflammatory Stability Index (ISI), is a better predictor of glaucoma progression than absolute cytokine levels. High inflammatory stability indicates faster retinal nerve fiber layer loss in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG).
