Abstract:
Lactic acid is a crucial metabolic biomarker closely related to human physiological health, and its accurate detection is of great significance for disease screening and health management. Nevertheless, current lactic acid detection technologies suffer from certain limitations in flexibility and practical applicability for wearable scenarios. In this work, a flexible photoelectrochemical sensing platform based on ZIF-8/NiO/Au composite was rationally constructed. The composite material was prepared via hydrothermal method and further modified on flexible electrodes through inkjet deposition, which realizes specific recognition and sensitive photoelectrochemical response toward lactic acid. The as-fabricated sensor achieves a high sensitivity of 3319 μA mM-1 cm-2 as well as satisfactory stability. This work provides an effective solution for high-performance sweat lactic acid monitoring and further expands the application potential of flexible photoelectrochemical sensors in wearable physiological detection.
