Abstract:
Indeterminate dendritic cell tumour (IDCT) is a rare form of non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis which typically presents with skin lesions. The histological appearances resemble Langerhans cell histiocytosis, although the cells are negative for CD207 (langerin) and lack Birbeck granules. The molecular mechanisms are diverse and include a subset of cases associated with ETV3::NCOA2 fusion. A significant minority of cases are associated with underlying haematological neoplasms, which require clinical exclusion.

Papillary Dermis
The dermis might be considered the "core" of the integumentary system, as distinct from the epidermis and hypodermis. It contains blood and lymph vessels, nerves, and other structures, such as hair follicles and sweat glands. The dermis is made of two layers of connective tissue that comprise an interconnected mesh of elastin and collagenous fibers, produced by fibroblasts.
