Abstract:
We present a prospective observational cohort protocol evaluating whether chronotype-based radiotherapy timing reduces treatment-related toxicities in localised prostate cancer. Individual circadian phase is characterised using the Munich ChronoType Questionnaire and salivary dim-light melatonin onset. The primary endpoint is late genitourinary toxicity grade ≥2 at 12 months, with secondary endpoints including gastrointestinal toxicity and patient-reported outcomes. The protocol is conducted at IPO Porto and designed for multi-site adoption.
