Application of Mixed Shell Powder as Modifier and Filler in Asphalt Mixture

Shells, a marine waste, can enhance asphalt pavement performance in tropical islands. This study recommends using 9% shell powder in SBS-modified asphalt and replacing 50-100% of mineral filler with shell powder in asphalt mixtures, reducing costs and improving durability.
