Disproportionality and Case-Based Evidence for a Possible Association Between Fluoroquinolones and Kounis Syndrome

Fluoroquinolones may be associated with Kounis syndrome (KS), a hypersensitivity reaction affecting coronary arteries. Ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin showed the strongest links in this pharmacovigilance and literature review.
