Summary
Synchronous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is rare. This case highlights the importance of pathological evaluation of lymph nodes in patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
Area of Science:
- Oncology
- Pathology
- Nephrology
Background:
- Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) survivors face an increased risk of secondary primary cancers.
- Synchronous occurrence of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and clear cell RCC (ccRCC) is exceptionally uncommon.
