Background:

Exercise therapy is a potential intervention for improving physical function and lymphatic flow.
Limited evidence exists on exercise therapy's effectiveness for lower-extremity lymphoedema.

Purpose of the Study:

To describe the outcomes of a comprehensive exercise program for a patient with lower-extremity lymphoedema post-uterine cancer surgery.
To evaluate changes in limb circumference, body composition, muscle strength, and quality of life.

Main Methods:

A 3-month comprehensive exercise program was implemented.
Measurements included limb circumference, body composition, muscle strength, and quality of life.
The patient had a history of uterine cancer surgery and developed lower-extremity lymphoedema.

Main Results:

No significant changes in limb circumference or muscle mass were observed.
Muscle strength increased in the healthy knee (extension and flexion).
Quality of life scores improved in the social functioning domain.

Conclusions:

An extensive exercise program may alleviate the daily living burden associated with lymphoedema.
Improvements in muscle strength and social functioning were noted.
Further research is warranted to confirm these findings.
