Abstract:
Seventeen previously unreported fusicoccane diterpenoids along with eight known analogues have been isolated and identified from the fungus Talaromyces sp. DC-26. Structures of these previously unreported compounds 1-17 with absolute configurations were elucidated by extensive NMR spectral analyses, electronic circular dichroism calculations, and acid hydrolysis combined with GC analysis. Among them, there are one compound featuring an oxygen bridge which formed a three-membered ring, the first fusicoccane diterpenoids with a cyclopentadiene moiety, and four pairs of epimers. These previously unreported compounds have greatly enriched the fusicoccane diterpenoids family with their diversity chemical structures. All the obtained compounds have been evaluated for their enzymes inhibitory activities, cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory activities, but none of them displayed any positive results up to the concentration of 40 μM.
