John and Trey Furlow, sons of Dr Leonard Furlow, shared personal reflections and memories of their father at the inaugural Leonard Furlow Symposium, held at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on November 8, 2025. Their accounts offered attendees an intimate portrait of the man behind the legacy, his intellectual rigor, innovative nature, and personal qualities that defined a surgeon whose contributions to plastic and reconstructive surgery remain profound and enduring.
