Abstract:
Tetrodotoxin (TTX) is a potent neurotoxin widely distributed among phylogenetically diverse organisms. However, comprehensive profiling of its analogues remains challenging due to the limited availability of authentic standards. Here, we report the first application of an MS-DIAL-based workflow for qualitative profiling of TTX analogues in toxic organisms. By Integrating a customized in-house spectral library, this approach enables reproducible and high-throughput qualitative annotation of structurally related TTX analogues, providing a practical framework for TTX analysis.
