  • To investigate whether weekend/holiday vitrectomy surgery impacts reoperation rates compared to weekday surgeries.

  • A nationwide, population-based retrospective cohort study utilizing the Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service database.
  • Inclusion of 387,544 adult patients who underwent initial vitrectomy between January 2011 and March 2024.
