The Africa Supply and Use Tables (ASUT) dataset provides harmonized annual tables for eleven sub-Saharan African countries from 1990 to 2019. Official supply and use tables are benchmarked to national accounts and trade statistics and harmonized across 20 sectors of the total economy. Consistent time series information is provided on production, intermediate use disaggregated into domestic and imported components, trade flows, and final demand. The dataset supports applications in value-added trade measurement, jobs related to exports, and studies accounting for inter-industry linkages. It is designed to facilitate comparative research on structural transformation, trade integration, and economic development in African economies.
