Occult primary prostate lymphoma in a young male: A case report

Primary diffuse large B-cell prostate lymphoma (DLBCL) is an extremely rare malignancy, particularly in the young, with only a limited number of cases recorded in the literature. This rarity often poses diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, as its clinical features can mimic those of more common prostatic conditions. Misdiagnosis can result in inadequate management especially when initial evaluations do not show suspicious findings. Given the rarity of prostate DLBCL, there is currently no consensus on the optimal treatment regimen. This case underscores the need for awareness among clinicians to provide prompt treatment offering a favorable outcome with timely intervention.
