Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) levels are higher in patients with low thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), particularly those with autoimmune hyperthyroidism. Elevated Tg may indicate T3 predominance and aid in characterizing thyroid disease pathophysiology.
