Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery (RATS) using uniportal (uRATS) or biportal (bRATS) approaches for anatomic lung resection demonstrates safety and feasibility. Both methods show comparable perioperative outcomes, though RATS is currently more costly than video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS).
