[68Ga]Ga-Trivehexin PET/CT shows superior performance in detecting hyperfunctioning parathyroid tissue in primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) compared to [99mTc]Tc-MIBI scans. This novel PET/CT approach offers higher accuracy for localizing parathyroid adenomas.
