Schwannoma originating from the cervical vagus nerve is a relatively rare benign tumor. It may present as multiple fused lesions with a string-of-beads appearance and remain clinically asymptomatic. Here, we report a rare case of multiple cervical vagus nerve schwannomas in a middle-aged female patient. The lesion was preoperatively misdiagnosed as abnormal lymph nodes and ultimately confirmed by postoperative pathological sections. This case presents the distinctive ultrasonic features of cervical vagus nerve schwannoma and enriches the existing literature. In addition, analysis of the misdiagnosis causes helps improve the diagnostic accuracy of ultrasonography for cervical schwannoma.
