Durable MRD-Negative Remission With Blinatumomab and Venetoclax in Heavily Pretreated Relapsed/Refractory

Introduction:
Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are standard therapy for Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL); however, relapsed or refractory disease remains challenging due to resistance driven by ABL kinase domain mutations.
Methods:
We report the case of a heavily pretreated patient with relapsed/refractory Ph+ ALL treated with blinatumomab and venetoclax without concurrent TKI therapy.
Results:
The patient achieved complete remission and remains in a deep, durable remission exceeding 1 year.
Conclusion:
This case highlights a potential kinase-independent, TKI-free strategy for relapsed/refractory Ph+ ALL, warranting further investigation.
