Prospective comparative analysis from pre- to postoperative changes in Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE)

Background:

- Post-operatively, mean BPII 2.0 was 77.7 ± 17.3. Mean SQ1, SQ2, and SQ3 results were 82.9%, 77.1%, and 80.1%, respectively, showing no significant differences between groups.
- Correlations between BPII 2.0 and SANE questions changed from pre- to post-operative: SQ1 (high to low), SQ2 (low to moderate), and SQ3 (low to high).
- 88% of participants achieved patient acceptable symptom state (PASS), and 86% reported substantial clinical benefit (SCB).

- All three SANE questions reflected significant post-operative improvement in LPI patients, aligning with BPII 2.0 outcomes.
- SANE question 3 (SQ3) demonstrated the strongest post-operative correlation with BPII 2.0, suggesting its potential utility.
