Scurvy often presents with subtle signs that are easily missed, potentially resulting in delayed or incorrect diagnosis. Diet history and underlying co-morbidities should be assessed if there is suspicion of scurvy; dermoscopic clues can be used as a valuable non-invasive tool for early detection in comparison to histopathological examination.
