Abstract:
Magnetic resonance urography (MRU) is an advanced imaging technique that enables comprehensive evaluation of the kidneys and urinary tract, combining high-resolution anatomical and functional assessment without ionizing radiation. This review presents the current state of pediatric MRU, with a focus on its clinical indications, patient preparation, image acquisition, and post-processing methods for functional analysis. Current limitations and controversies are also addressed, together with a concise overview of emerging techniques that may further refine MRU applications in clinical practice.
