Fukinolic acid (FA) surprisingly accelerates amyloid-β (Aβ) aggregation and worsens neurotoxicity in Alzheimer's disease models. This compound may exacerbate synaptic dysfunction via NMDA receptor pathways, necessitating caution in its therapeutic evaluation.
