Abstract:
In this issue of Developmental Cell, Zhang et al.1 use human pancreatic progenitor organoids to define the tumorigenic threshold governed by mutations in the four most altered genes in PDAC. They connect this transition to AP-1-driven chromatin remodeling, TET1 suppression, and epigenetic restriction of pancreatic lineage programs.
