Summary

Hepatitis B virus-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (HBV-ACLF) treatment with artificial liver support systems (ALSS) reprogrammed monocytes. A pro-inflammatory monocyte subpopulation (Mono4) decreased, suggesting ALSS impacts systemic inflammation in HBV-ACLF patients.
