None:
Marking the 10th anniversary of intersectional MAIHDA (multilevel analysis of individual heterogeneity and discriminatory accuracy), this commentary outlines the method's history to date. Originally called an "intersectional multilevel method" when it was first introduced in 2015, the approach was later given the name it is now widely known by: intersectional MAIHDA, or I-MAIHDA. In this commentary, I discuss I-MAIHDA's development, its validation by independent research teams, questions it has provoked, and extensions of the method, such as multicategorical MAIHDA (M-MAIHDA) and Eco-Intersectional Multilevel (EIM) modeling. Although not a comprehensive review, my intention is to familiarize readers with the general shape of the existing literature. I conclude by describing important open questions and promising future directions worthy of exploration.
