Conventional management often leads to procedural errors, excessive dentin removal, and treatment failure.

Purpose of the Study:

To compare the efficacy and outcomes of guided endodontics versus the freehand technique in treating calcified root canals.
To evaluate canal location, procedural efficiency, and patient-reported outcomes.

Main Methods:

A comparative study involving 60 teeth (48 patients) with pulp canal obliteration.
Teeth were divided into two groups: guided endodontics (n=30) and freehand technique (n=30).
Outcomes measured included canal location accuracy, negotiation time, dentin removal, procedural complications, and patient-reported pain and satisfaction.
