Abstract:
Therapeutic development in MASH is rapidly evolving, with accelerated approvals (resmetirom, semaglutide) based on histology in non-cirrhosis and event-driven trials in cirrhosis. Emerging paradigms include noninvasive biomarkers, hybrid endpoints, and combination therapies, aiming to improve outcomes and streamline trials while addressing disease heterogeneity and systemic cardiometabolic risk.
