Bidirectional relationships between increased arterial stiffness and atrial fibrillation

Increased arterial stiffness (iAS) and atrial fibrillation (AF) have a two-way relationship. Preventing iAS lowers AF risk, and preventing AF reduces iAS risk, highlighting the importance of managing both conditions.
