Employing principles of Interior Design Theory and Practice, this paper investigates the relationship between public safety and human security, underscoring the essential role of design thinking as a fundamental intellectual framework for both curriculum development and instructional methodologies in these domains. Through the application of a design-oriented methodology-characterized by creativity, empathy, and a systematic approach to problem-solving, this study seeks to contribute to the evolving body of knowledge regarding effective pedagogical strategies for the public safety curriculum.
