Sufficient bone volume surrounding dental implants is essential for successful implant treatment outcomes. Clinically, a variety of bone augmentation techniques have been utilized to address bone deficiencies. Nonetheless, existing bone augmentation methods remain highly technically sensitive, extended surgical durations, and entail certain risks of complications. The integration of digital technologies with bone augmentation procedures has the potential to streamline and enhance the efficiency of these surgeries. This article provides a comprehensive review of the current applications and research advancements concerning the use of digital technologies in bone augmentation.
