Triage effectiveness: a framework for quantifying the effect of emergency triage prioritization

We developed Triage Effectiveness (TE), a new framework to measure how well emergency department triage systems prioritize critical patients and reduce wait times. TE quantifies triage performance, identifying gaps between expected and actual patient care.
