Abstract:
In the present study, oleanolic acid was oxidised to oleanonic acid of which different derivatives were prepared and screened for their nematicidal, antiglycation, antioxidant, urease inhibition, lung cancer (NCl-H460), oral cancer (Cal-27), HeLa cell line, NIH-3T3 cells, antibacterial, and antifungal activities. Several compounds showed strong mortality against root knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) at 0.125% concentration after 72 h. These compounds showed moderate to strong antiglycation activity. Potent urease inhibition activity was observed for compounds 10 and 11 (IC50 15.2, 19.5 µM, respectively).
