Abstract:
A 10-year-old boy with clinically suspected left adrenal pheochromocytoma was enrolled in a clinical trial. He underwent 18F-MFBG PET/CT for further evaluation, which revealed intense tracer accumulation in the left adrenal lesion, supporting the diagnosis of pheochromocytoma. Notably, pronounced 18F-MFBG uptake was also observed in multiple brown adipose tissue regions, including the cervical, supraclavicular, paraspinal, anterior mediastinum, and perirenal areas. The diagnosis was subsequently confirmed by histopathologic examination after adrenalectomy.
