The application of traditional gel dressings is limited by their poor sealing properties and inadequate anti-inflammatory effects. In this study, a temperature-sensitive hydrogel loaded with an anti-inflammatory agent was developed to address this issue. Initially, Icariin (ICA), which possesses both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, was incorporated into nano-bioactive glass (NBG). Subsequently, the ICA-loaded NBG was incorporated into a sodium alginate (SA)/Pluronic F127 hydrogel (F127) system to prepare a thermosensitive composite hydrogel (FSB gel). The results demonstrated that the prepared FSB gel exhibits excellent thermosensitivity, injectability, and stability, as well as good biocompatibility. It accelerates the inflammatory response, promotes angiogenesis and collagen deposition, and enables scar-free healing of rat wounds within 14 days. Therefore, this study provides a viable option for the design of thermosensitive composite hydrogels intended to promote wound healing.
