Purpose of the Study:

  • To correlate hand contamination with bloodstream infections.
  • To explore natural antimicrobial agents as complementary HAI prevention.

  • Collected 128 hand samples from HCWs across different hospital units.
  • Quantified microbial load using Rodac TSA plates.
  • Identified isolates via MALDI-TOF and confirmed multidrug resistance using Phoenix BD system.
