Purpose of the Study:

  • To determine if a history of cancer is independently associated with subjective daytime sleepiness in patients with OSA.

Main Methods:

  • An observational cohort study included 402 untreated OSA patients.
  • Cancer history was recorded, and daytime sleepiness was measured using the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS).

  • Relying solely on subjective sleepiness may hinder the identification of clinically significant OSA in cancer survivors.
