Conventional synthetic strategies for high-entropy alloys (HEAs) generally lack precise control over the spatial distribution of constituent elements, making rational regulation of surface composition particularly challenging. Herein, a MnFeCoNiRu HEA was synthesized via NaBH4 reduction, followed by atomic layer deposition (ALD) for controllable Ru surface enrichment with tunable surface concentration.
