Summary
Leadless pacemaker dislodgement is a rare complication. A double-snare technique safely retrieved an inverted atrial leadless pacemaker, and 3D mapping improved reimplantation success.
Area of Science:
- Cardiology
- Medical Devices
- Electrophysiology
Background:
- Atrial leadless pacemaker (LP) dislodgement is an uncommon but serious complication.
- This complication is more frequent in atrial than ventricular leadless pacemakers.
