Cardiac hemangioma is very rare and accounts for 2%-3% of the primary cardiac tumors. They are classified into capillary, cavernous, epitheloid, and arteriovenous types. Although commonly asymptomatic, haemangiomas can cause arrhythmia, pericardial effusion, congestive heart failure, right ventricular outflow tract obstruction, coronary insufficiency, and sudden death; the symptoms depend on their location and size. Accurate preoperative diagnosis is challenging and elusive. Advanced imaging modalities, including echocardiography, CT, and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR), are useful for further characterizing cardiac hemangioma and providing a diagnosis Coronary angiography is sometimes useful in revealing how the tumor is fed and its characteristic tumor blush. Cardiac haemangiomas are still recommended for surgical excision due to the risks of embolism, rupture, and sudden death.
